WDM, (not to be confused with WMD - George Bush's imaginary Weapons of Mass Destruction), who actually exist, have picked up the advertising account for the Royal Adelaide Show, which apparently also actually exists.
WDM, who recently appointed Peter Syndacis as their top creative dog, were particularly pleased with the win calling it a "big win for us". Great news for them, not so great for the dog. After about five years in the spotlight, it looks like the beloved Collie who's been the show icon is about to be put down.
At the time of writing, it was unclear exactly who WDM pitched against (it's rumoured to have been up to six agencies, including one from interstate), or what exactly would happen to the poor pooch.
One thing is for sure, WDM are looking forward to "a full rebranding" of The Show and we'll certainly be looking forward to seeing what they come up with - almost as much as we look forward to the show bag guide and those mighty tasty "hot american donuts".
