Imagination Has Monopoly On SA Icons.

When the guys at Imagination arent buying helicopters and planes, theyre actually doing some pretty cool games - board Games, DVD games etc - for some of the worlds hottest licenses and brands. Think Disney, Nickelodeon and the like and youll be in the ballpark. Or maybe that's themepark?

Anyway, for all the fuss, theres no question theyre a great South Aussie success story playing the game on the world stage. But for all that success, theyve managed to put their money where there mouth is close to home, supporting some great charities including the McGuinness McDermott Foundation. In fact, their Imagination Ventures division was set up purely for all their charity work. With the MM Foundation one of their faves cause theyre doers and they get the job done.

So their next project is working on a limited edition SA Icons version of the classic game Monopoly. This edition will be the 15th theyve produced so far to raise money for the MM Foundation, having already raised a lazy $4million. And you know what they say, when youre on a good thing stick to it! So come October, youll be seeing the latest SA version of Monopoly - but only if youre quick. Limited to runs of between 5,000 - 8,000, last time they produced one of these games, they sold the lot in under 24 hours! Collectors item anyone?

The game will feature 22 places and icons that make our state unique so if you have any suggestions who might like to take their place in this little slice of history, nows the time to get in contact with them. The icon can be a geographical place like Port Lincoln, or simply an iconic thing like a frog cake or pie floater. Its probably a bit early to whack AdTown on there, but we imagine its only a matter of time. But only if we can be the racing car when it comes time to play.
